Austin Professional Organizer Earns Prestigious Industry Certification

Austin, TX -- Barry Izsak, Immediate Past President of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), has earned the prestigious designation of Certified Professional Organizer®, a unique distinction in the history of the professional organizing industry. This Austin professional organizer is amongst the first in the professional organizing industry to earn the CPO® designation nationwide and in the state of Texas in this inaugural year.
Having just completed two consecutive terms as President of NAPO, Mr. Izsak is especially proud that this program was launched under his presidency. “Certification in any industry is a milestone to be embraced and celebrated. It is a natural development and a measure of an industry’s maturity and long-term viability in the marketplace,” he said. “By becoming certified, I have made a calculated commitment to my career as a professional organizer and have embarked upon a course of continuing education to keep abreast of new developments. For me, certification is the next logical step in my professional maturity and will ensure my own long-term viability in the marketplace.”
Certification by The Board of Certified Professional Organizers (BCPO) is a voluntary, industry-led effort that benefits the members of the organizing profession, as well as the public. It is formal recognition of professional organizers who have met specific minimum standards, and have proved through examination and client interaction that they possess the body of knowledge and experience required to receive the Certified Professional Organizer® credential. The program recognizes and raises industry standards, practices and ethics. For the public, certification of professional organizers maximizes the value received from the services and products provided by a CPO®.
